Baakari Wilder is a native of the DC metropolitan area. Theatre and dance became his passion at an early age. He began working professionally in theatres in the area such as Folger Theatre (The Merry Wives Of Windsor) and Ford’s Theatre (Conrack) which eventually led him to Broadway in a starring role in the musical production Bring in Da Noise Bring in Da Funk. Credits include Bay Theatre’s production of Master Harold and the Boys, Unexpected Stage Company’s production of Trifles, Hard Bargain Players production of Radio Golf, and Mosaic Theatre Company's premiere production of Unexplored Interior Baakari has a BA in Theatre at the University of Maryland at College Park.
